Obtaining a Permanent Residency Card—The Perks
Otherwise known as a PR card, a permanent residency card is an excellent way to enjoy all of the benefits that Canada has to offer. Of course, this type of status is only available to those who are NOT currently Canadian citizens. Besides this one stipulation, there are a few other guidelines that should first be considered. One must not have been asked to leave the country by the Canadian government, currently reside within the country, and already have a resident status. So, why is this card so advantageous?
